It is beneficial for healthy individuals too, and there is no better stimulant & life-prolonger than milk. In Ayurveda, milk is considered Jivaniya(life-supporting). A regular intake of milk will save you from all diseases and also slow down the ageing process. Milk on its own is a medicine. If taken with other drugs or herbs, it serves as a tonic or purifier. According to Ayurveda, milk is prohibited to drink with any other food, as it is difficult to digest so it may take longer than usual for the body to digest milk. Milk can be consumed after two hours of eating food.
The right time to eat curd

The right time to drink buttermilk
Buttermilk is far rich in quality than curd, as per Ayurveda root cause of all diseases is low digestive fire, and buttermilk works on digestive fire & work on all conditions. However, according to disease, herbs or spices will be changed.
According to Ayurveda, buttermilk can be drunk at any time of the day. You can drink it after meals. However, it is important to pay attention to the weather and place before consuming it in the evening or at night. If you have stomach problems, drink buttermilk on an empty stomach in the morning.
